The backbone of Gulf Intervention good safety record is the firm belief that safety is an “attitude” carried through to every aspect of the job. Gulf Intervention intensive safety program consists of:

  • New Employee Orientation
  • Intermediate Employee Training and Certification

  • Tailgate safety meetings in the field and shop on a daily basis
  • Formal weekly safety meetings, and job site inspections are conducted and documented by Supervisor level employees
  • Safety Pays Program that rewards employees and management for consistent “on the job” and “in shop” safety practices and procedures

  • Annual review of the Safety Program to respond to changes in technology, government legislation and hazards identified by staff or in the industry

    In addition, Gulf Intervention maintains a comprehensive Policy and Procedures Manual – an active document that outlines all formal safety policies and job specific procedures. As snubbing technology expands, the need for additions to the manual is constant. Every employee contributes so that future employees can benefit from past experience. Anyone within Gulf Intervention can contribute to improving or upgrade the policies and procedures manual, and it is evaluated every year.Gulf Intervention considers Safety training a “life-long learning” process and continually develops specialized workshops to keep up to date on safety topics related to our industry.
